Inspired by some pretty amazing early morning winter light we’d been getting, I suggested a sunrise engagement shoot to Lucy and Karl and they were keen. A date was set, sunrise time checked and arrangements made to make sure we were on the beach for 6:45 AM. The long range weather forecasts didn’t look good but with a day to go they turned and it looked like we’d get a sunrise with little or no cloud to spoil things. But as is the way with British weather forcasting, on the morning of the shoot we were thwarted by the grey stuff. Damn. It was really peaceful at that time though and we still got some great shots, totally worth getting up for.

Can’t wait for Lucy and Karl’s wedding at Islington Town Hall, here’s some shots from their early morning shoot at Shoebury East Beach and the Garrison.
