When Jo and Ant booked their Spring Wedding at Red Brick Barn in Rochford, Essex, I’m sure they were hoping for a bright, sunny if slightly fresh day, full of the colours of the British countryside. Well the British weather hasn’t been playing ball this year, Spring has been on hold and on the day of the wedding we were greeted with a wind that could be described as nothing other than arctic!
Not that it mattered one bit, as I’m sure their guests will agree, Jo and Ant’s warm welcome more than made up for the freezing cold wind. And judging by the mountain of home made cakes that the guests and baked, Jo and Ant obviously mean a lot to their friends, some of whom had flown in from as far as Kuala Lumpur, Dominican Republic, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Spain and Norway to be with them on their wedding day. With hilarious, heartfelt speeches and a dance floor that rivalled the Pink Toothbrush (sorry, local reference) for crazy dance moves it was an amazing day and I loved being there to capture it.
If you’re looking for an intimate venue with a difference that you can really make your own, check out Red Brick Barn.
