Charlotte and Paul’s wedding at St Clement’s Church in Leigh-on-sea was a special one. You may remember from their pre-wedding shoot that these two mean a lot to me. They met at my wedding and 7 years later I got to be their photographer. Awesome.
In the morning Paul and the boys played golf in thick mist at The Rayleigh Club on the morning of the wedding. We couldn’t really see the ball once it left the club face but it was still fun. The mist burned off to reveal a perfect spring day and by the arrived with the girls the sun was shining strong. When you see the photos I think you’ll agree that Charlotte looked amazing in her Lusan Mandongus wedding dress, Paul didn’t scrub up too bad either.
Their ceremony at St Clement’s Church featured some of the best light I’ve ever seen in a church. Towards the end of the ceremony the sun was streaming through one of the windows to perfectly illuminate Charlotte and Paul at them at the head of the aisle. It made for some pretty dramatic photos. The reception at The Chichester Hotel was a ton of fun as expected and the dance floor was crazy! Real crazy.
Congratulations guys, it was amazing.

Phenomenal job my friend.
Just so, so special.
Matt – what an amazing set of photos to capture such a special day. We couldn’t have asked for a better friend or hugely talented photographer to have journeyed through it all with us. I can’t help but smile everytime I look at these, especially of the ones with the boys playing golf. What you captured in the church is incredible and I could never have dreamt of a sunset like we had, or what you have done with it. Thank you so much x
