Alice and Craig
When Alice and Craig chose me to photograph their wedding at Woodhall Manor on August Bank Holiday, I wasn’t expecting much rain. I mean, even with the good old British weather, it rarely rains all day at the height of summer. Well it did. Even during the short windows where we did manage to get outside for a few portraits, it was still wet.
But it didn’t matter one bit. A wedding isn’t about the weather. It isn’t even about the venue, the dress, the shoes, the food etc. That’s all a side show. Weddings are about celebrating two people who love each other and in Alice and Craig you couldn’t find two people more worth celebrating. Telling the story of their wedding, rain and all, was an honour.
Thanks so to everyone I met and to Alice and Craig for having me. I hope you thought braving the rain in the evening for a few portraits was worth getting wet for. Here are a few of my favourite photos.
