As Essex Wedding venues go Gosfield Hall is really special so when Kirstin and Tom booked for theirs I was absolutely delighted to finally get to work there. It didn’t disappoint. Light is so important for a photographer and the huge windows at Gosfield really provided so perfect indoor light. We were even treated to a stunning sunset creating my idea of a perfect backdrop for some portraits.

But as always, as good as the venue is it’s always the people who make a wedding. And wow, the people at Kirstin and Tom’s wedding really were lovely. Friendly, funny and welcoming throughout the day, ready to party in the evening. I think the dance floor photos what a great group of fun loving people these were. As for Kirstin and Tom, I could not have asked for more from a couple. The connection between them and love for each other was clear and they weren’t afraid to show it.

If ever there was a perfect wedding to kick off the year this was it. I really came away with that warm fuzzing feeling that I love about weddings. Thank you to all the staff at Gosfield Hall for their hard work and help on the day. I really hope to be back soon. An even bigger thank you to Kirstin and Tom for letting me into your lives and making me feel so welcome. Here are the photos which hopefully tell the story of an amazing day.
