London’s Southbank is such a classic spot for engagement shoots. Full of interesting backdrops and architecture to make some creative portraits. So when I was discussing locations for Pip and Duncan’s shoot I was so pleased they loved the idea of going for the Southbank. There’s just so much to choose from, we barely managed to scratch the surface of potential locations along that stretch of the Thames. And as for the light, well, we totally lucked out there!
But as much as location and light is important what I look for in couple portraits are moments. Moments that communicate the connection between my couples. From spending a couple of hours photographing these guys together that connection and love for each other is clear. Hopefully it comes through in the photos.
Bring on the wedding! Cannot wait!
If you’re planning a wedding I’d love to hear from you.
OMG! Get you 2, I see it on my page and thought my god they look like Pips and Duncan, and it was !!!! Well done, paid models wouldn’t have shown what the two of you did XXX

Such beautiful and clever composition and use of angles. And I love your lens flare!
Stunningly good, especially that first shot.

Awesome work, I’m loving that shot in the trees.
Light domination! Out of the park dude….
This is great urban photography. Love the solar flare on the top picture and the shot of them in the trees.
