It was such a pleasure to go back to Down Hall Country House Hotel for Jayne and Andrew’s amazing 1920s style wedding. It’s such a beautiful building with stunning grounds and the staff there are second to none. Being just before Christmas everything was very festive. Jayne and Andrew planned a wonderful day. They pulled off their vision for a 1920s style wedding perfectly, so full of glamour with all the men very dapper in black tie. As for the ladies, beautiful, every single one, but completely outshone by the stunning bride. Jayne’s creativity and vision also shone in all of the details, especially the cake and sweet table which she did herself (yep, she’s a pretty amazing cake maker).

The connections between these two and their family and friend were evident all day. It really was a wedding full of emotion and warmth. No matter what everything looks like, the venue, the details, it’s always the people and love that make a great wedding. Being their photographer was and honour and a pleasure.

Thanks again to all the staff at Down Hall who were amazing as always, I really hope to be back soon. An even bigger thank you to Jayne and Andrew for letting me into your lives and making me feel so welcome. Here are the photos which hopefully tell the story of a special day.
