“Well… what can we say. We’ve gasped, we’ve been in tears and we’ve been roaring with laughter. The pictures area absolutely AMAZING. We are so so happy.
You always have that niggling doubt in the back of your mind, whether a day was as good as you remember or if people really enjoyed it. Your pictures assuaged all those doubts and perfectly reflected how the day was in ur minds. I can’t wait to show people. So many moments and so many stories.
Thanks again, we’ll recommend you to everyone!
Chloe and Josh”
Wow, those words above really do blow me away. To produce a set of photos that a couple will cherish for the rest if their lives really make this the best job ever. And what a day Chloe and Josh’s wedding at Newark Town Hall was. Perfect all round
The day started in the village of Collingham where Chloe got ready at her sister’s house and Josh made his preparations at his family home. The village was to play a big part in the day as the local cricket club was also hosting the marquee reception. When everyone was ready and looking amazing it was off to the wedding ceremony at Newark Town Hall. The Town Hall is a lovely and historic building, perfect for a wedding. As amazing as Chloe looked as she entered it was their daughter Evie who stole the show, arms open, running to Daddy at the top of the aisle. Top work Evie, I think Mummy and Daddy will be showing you that photo for many years to come.
After the ceremony it was onto the marquee reception at Collingham Cricket Club where Josh and many members of both families have spent many a day playing over the years. The effort put into decorating the marquee was quite incredible, it really was. I know both Chloe and Josh put in a very long shift the day before getting it looking perfect and wow, did they do a great job or what! And I hate to think how many hours had gone into creating everything in the months leading up to the big day. The words “sweat shop” were mentioned but we’ll gloss over that. There plenty of games on offer to keep everyone entertained including welly wanging, skittles, jenga and space hoppers.
The fun didn’t stop there either. What a party! Sparklers, Jägerbombs, confetti cannons, confetti ballons, animal masks, more Jägerbombs and…… errr…… elbow licking. Don’t ask, I didn’t.
All that’s left to say is a huge thank you not just to Chloe and Josh but to everyone for partying hard and making me feel so welcome throughout. Here are the photos which hopefully give you a taste of what it was like being there.
