Really excited about sharing this wedding. Back in October I had the pleasure of documenting Jennie and Lindsey’s Prince Albert Camden Wedding and what a day it was. I always love a London Pub Wedding and this one was no exception.
On a beautiful autumnal afternoon, Jennie and Lindsey said “I do” at Islington Town Hall, one of my personal favourite places for a wedding ceremony. The staff there, like most of the London Registrars I’ve worked with, are lovely and so professional. Adding their own style to the day, this same sex couple had planned a fun and relaxed day. There was laughter, smiles, and a few tears, surrounded by the people they love. I think you’ll agree that both girls really did look absolutely breathtaking in their white dresses and fur jackets.
After what was a pretty emotional ceremony and fun confetti on the steps outside a classic route master bus was on hand to transport all the guests from Islington Town Hall to the Prince Albert Pub in Camden. At the pub we were greeted with mulled cider and lots of Autumnal details lovingly prepared by Jennie and Lindsey. The day flew past with delicious food, entertaining and emotional speeches and soon it was time for the dancing. Oh the dancing. Always one of my favourite parts of the day to photograph. So much fun.
A massive thank you to Jennie, Lindsey, their friends and family for being such brilliant people to photograph. Everyone was was so relaxed, friendly and welcoming. I also have to say a huge thank you to my friend Kirsten Mavric for coming along a second shooting this one for me. All of Lindsey’s prep shots are hers as well as some of the ceremony. Was a pleasure having her along.
If you want to know more about my style and approach to wedding photography I now have a nice little slideshow on my Wedding Portfolio page so check that out and get in touch to enquire about your wedding.
Here are the photos, hope you enjoy this little insight into what was a great day!
love this…all of it! Immense storytelling and I love seeing some of your street photography vibe coming through. It’s very immersive photography, I really felt like part of the action. Keep it up bro.
Really nicely shot. Great frames and story, I bet they’re over the moon with them
